The Coach

Tracey Carruthers

Meet The Coach

My passion, what I’m really good at, is coaching. I honed my executive coaching skills as Vice President with Senn-Delaney Leadership. I have served as consultant and executive coach for over 15 years to Fortune 500 companies. Now in Quasi-Retirement, my focus is Community Collaborations, primarily leadership consulting and executive coaching for Black Female Entrepreneurs.

Background

Another field of expertise is journalism and I am often called upon as a media coach. I spent 18 years with NBC Network News. Among many assignments during that time I served as:

Olympics Producer: 1984 Los Angeles; 1988 Calgary; 1988 Seoul, Korea.

Midwest Bureau Chief, leading the Bureau’s Emmy Award winning coverage of the Midwest floods of 1993.

Producer of an award winning series of reports on South Africa’s first all-race elections.

Producer Tiananmen Square.

Bureau Chief, NBC News Kuwait, during the first Gulf War.

Personal Growth & Priorities

Former active member and Speaker’s Panel Representative for the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association of Southern California.

I have several personal coaches and attribute my personal growth to the teachings of Sydney Banks and Dr. Ronald W. Jue.

My number one priority is to always be available to mentor and coach my son and his precious children.
